The design features a dramatic central roundel with petal detailing, framed by sweeping arches and stylised foliage — a layout typical of traditional encaustic tiles where individual squares combine to form a larger circular pattern when repeated.
This pattern reflects the strong geometry and balanced symmetry seen in medieval church flooring. When repeated, the stencil forms a continuous interlocking design, recreating the grandeur of traditional abbey tile layouts.
Perfect for adding architectural depth and period authenticity to modern interiors.

Laser Cutting Marks
Due to the nature of our process, you may notice slight discolouration around the cut edges. This is a natural result of laser cutting (light burning) and is more visible on opaque materials like self-adhesive Mylar. It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the stencil’s performance in any way.
Flattening Larger Stencils
Larger stencils are shipped rolled for practicality and cost-efficiency. If your stencil arrives curled, simply lay it flat for a couple of days. For quicker results, you can place it between two towels and press gently with a warm iron.
Peel & Stick Stencils
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or debris before application. When the adhesive loses tackiness, wash the stencil in warm soapy water and let it air dry. It will regain its tackiness once dry. You may use spray adhesive instead of washing if you prefer not to wait.
The longevity of the tacky backing varies with use and conditions, but it can always be reactivated or supported with spray adhesive if needed.
